Music by The Piano Brothers

Zaydek Kreede James was born on January 17, 2013 in Perryton, Texas. He grew up on the family farm learning to enjoy the country life. He really liked to help feed cows for his family, learning to drive ATV’s, going to the lake, playing with his brother and sister and most of all, chasing and tormenting frogs. He finished kindergarten this year at Balko. This summer he was a member of the Balko T-Ball team and really loved his team and the sport. Anyone that knows him knows his smile could light up any room he walked into and was willing to help anyone and everyone in need. He was so proud of his family and loved spending time with all of them telling stories, cuddling and giving hugs to them out of the blue. Recently his Dad taught him to ride his bike without his training wheels with the help of his brother. He was a determined boy and was riding his bike by himself after just a couple of hours of never giving up. His precious life was cut short on June 26, 2019 due to a freak accident on the farm doing what he loved, HELPING!

He was preceded in death by his great grandmas, Bonita James and RaeDena Watson; his Grandpa Bill O’Dell; his other great grandparents Alvin and Elsie Cowan; his great great Granny, Opal James.

Zaydek is survived by his mom and dad, Kara and Carl Roberts; his brother, Braylan James and his sister, KaeDena Roberts; his grandparents, Greg James, Krista and Jerald Bennett and Linda O’Dell; his great grandparents, M.C. and Becky James and Willard and Patty McDaniel, Aunt TT and Uncle Kenny and cousin Kaden and many numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many beloved friends.

Zaydek has the sweetest heart. I was so blessed to have gotten to work with him while his was in PreK. He had some of the most amazing hugs. Zaydek had such a genuine soul and touch so many lives at such a young age. May God be with you and lay a healing hand upon your heart.

I don’t know you, but I ache like I’ve known you forever. I don’t know what it is to lose a child, but I know what it is to be a child and lose a parent. I also know what it is to be held by the very arms of God when I needed them most. This is my deepest prayer for you. May you be cradled in His comfort.

My heart goes out to your whole family! Prayers go up! I subbed this wonderful little boy the last two years at Balko. What a joy! I remember the first day this little boy wore his new glasses, he was so proud of them. He said" Mrs. Hill, Now I can see to get better grades." Always done his best. I will miss this little guy this year.Love you all

I’m so very sorry to read the loss of your handsome lil man. I don’t know you all. As I live in Bedfordshire England. But this came across my Facebook and instantly tore my heart. Please know I’m a Christian woman and have prayed fervently for your family that He brings you ALL peace, comfort, guidance, but most of all understanding at this upsetting time. Know that your lil one is watching over all of you now and you couldn’t have a more precious angel to guide your paths now til you're together again one day. My most sincere sympathy to the whole family. With love - Teri x

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of your precious son. We heard the sad news from your family members here in Georgia who are dear friends of ours. Kammy, and her folks, the McDaniels, who are grieving this terrible tragedy. Revelation 21: 3, 4 holds out a wonderful promise when it says that God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more. Another bible verse God had written for us is that death is an enemy that will be done away with. 1 Corinthians 15: 26 How comforting to know that! John 5: 28, 29 says that there will be a resurrection of our loved ones and we will be reunited with them once again. May these scriptural thoughts comfort you as you remember wonderful things about your son. We send our love and condolences...
