Patricia Sue McAlister Wooten was born February 22, 1948 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Warren Dean McAlister and Nadine Searcy McAlister.  She graduated Beaver High School in 1966.  She attended Byng Vo-Tech graduating in 1982 as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  Pat worked many years caring for the elderly in various Nursing Homes, she dearly loved nursing.  Pat was joined in marriage on May 24th, 1975 to Autry Dean Wooten.  To this union one daughter, Summer Nicole was born June 20, 1983.   Her older brother Buddy Kinne Wooten and older sister Sequeeta Wooten welcomed her to the family. 

Pat’s hobbies included a love of crocheting, reading books, a true green thumb with plants and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Wooten, her parents, Warren Dean McAlister and Nadine Searcy Hecox.  Stepmother, Liz McAlister, step son Buddy Kinne and sister Rita Gail McAlister Norris.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Summer and husband Joshua Baker of Beaver, Oklahoma; Daughter, Sequeeta  and husband Tony Potter of Wewoka, Oklahoma; Adopted Son Derrick and wife Amber Grisswold of Afton, Oklahoma; Adopted Daughter, Amber and husband Trent Spillman of Carlsbad, NM; 

Sister, Marilyn and Alan Newman, Forgan, Oklahoma; Sister, Sharilyn and Chris Purcell, Stillwater, Oklahoma; Brother, Wes and Kathy Passmore, Burns Flat; Oklahoma, Sister, Arlene and Lonnie Brown, Beaver, Oklahoma; Brother, Roger and Teresa James, Hugoton, Kansas; and Sister, Shirley and Scott McDonald, Satanta, Kansas; 12 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Patricia departed this life on March 23, 2021 at the age of 73 years at the Beaver County Memorial Hospital.

Pat was always very good to our boys, always trying her best to make each of them as happy as she could. She will be missed, but pieces of her will forever be around all of us who’s lives she touched. Our thoughts, prayers, and love to the family.
