To Kim, Shawn, and the rest of the kids and grandkids:
Congratulations on having good parents!  Ramona worked with Cheryl, and Max was a top-notch meat cutter.  But that is not the best of our memories of them; they were friends who kept their good cheer through everything.  We were especially grateful that Max fed the turkeys, which we drove past every day to watch.  We didn't know that he was a member of AQHA, but it figures, 'cause that horse of his was well cared for, and, thanks to Kim and the kids, kept on being in good shape (except for getting a little sway-backed, like me) even when Max couldn't do it anymore.  God bless you all...

Max was such a great guy and always so pleasant. Always had a smile on his face. Karen, I think of you often and I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet dad. Kim and boy’s I’m equally as sorry...he raised you all as his. That’s how special Max was. May God give each of you peace and comfort. He will be missed by many.

Max was my classmate at BHS 1955. We lost touch in recent years but have memories of good times growing up. Much sympathy to all his family.
