|Where do you begin when expressing a relationship with R.P. , Richard, Dick Trippet First Dick was good at his chosen profession. If you needed a lawyer Dick was who you went to. He was so much more every town needs a Dick Trippet a person that had a story for every event and if he didn't have one he would make it up. 1970 the Beaver Jaycees were having Mexican food party hosted by Bob and Linda Downing Jan and I were new in town and this guy in a suit came by the store and invited us to the party. That night Jan and I started our love affair with the Town of Beaver because of Dick Trippet. He met us at the door in full Mexican attire including the huge hat. The stories go on for another 51 years most of those you can tell and we will share many times, A few need to stay just memories but they were all special because they are RP Trippet stories . RIP my FRIEND|

|It was so good to visit with Diane by telephone the other-evening about herself, Dick and family. As I told her, I still cherish his-greeting me at-the-door of Sunday School class at the Methodist Church with "Good morning, Sis; I love you" even though it-has-been almost four-years since I moved to Stillwater. I am so-glad he didn't have to suffer like the last-time he fell while I was living there. Grieve-as-you must; not-as-others are trying to tell you is right, wrong or indifferent. Travel-the-pathway ahead clinging tightly to our Lord's unchanging and unfailing hand, there are no-pathways for all but an individual-one for each. I won't tell you from experience it-will-be an easy-road but I can tell you He will always be there for you. Give-my-love to all, you-are-a special-family and I know each will help the other through. I know you will have a very, special-service in April for a very, special guy. I will be there in thoughts, concerns and prayers although I will not be able to attend in person. I won't even be able to attend my only-sister's-husband's Memorial on April 5th in Dumas, Texas who passed from COVID last November.|
