Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln born to Albert & Glenora (Townsend) Lincoln on June 2, 1915 and passed on July 21, 2014. Abe was very proud of his active time in the Navy and was honorably discharged in March of 1946. He went on to graduate from Lincoln Electronical Engineering School in May 1948. Abe was an electrician most of his life and enjoyed working. Him and his wife Nora moved to Forgan, Oklahoma in 2001. Abe attended the Forgan Golden Agers almost every week where he enjoyed one of his favorite past times, playing cards with his friends and telling stories. Every Sunday he looked forward to the sons & grandsons coming over for coffee and a few games of pool. Abe was faithful to study Gods word daily and always researching to learn more about everything. On June 6, 2012 Abe made the Veterans Honor Flight to Washington DC. He was the oldest veteran on the trip at 97 years old. Abraham had two daughters, Levella & Nadara prior to his marriage to Nora Riggs Wright on July 2, 1983. He is survived by:His wife Nora Lincoln of Forgan, Oklahoma His children Levella & Al Hutchins of Muldrow, Oklahoma Nadara & Bob Canning of Hardin, Montana His step children Virgil & Mary Wright of Forgan, Oklahoma Victor & Barbara Wright of Forgan, Oklahoma John Wright of McCamey, Texas Jerry Wright of Joplin, Missouri Darrel Wright of Forgan, Oklahoma Jack & Karen Wright of Sedalia, Missouri Beth Cramer & Jerry White of Forgan, Oklahoma Mark & Lottie Wright of Forgan, Oklahoma His Nephew Bruce Lincoln of Tucson, Arizona Also many, many grandchildren & great grandchildren. A host of family & friends. Preceded in death by:His parents Albert & Glenora Lincoln Two brothers Eugene & Albert Lincoln as well as two nephews and other distant relatives.
