Alice Fay Clubb

November 11, 1938 — July 3, 2019

Alice Fay Mussman was born November 11, 1938 at home near Guymon Oklahoma.  She was the first of three children for Gilbert Cecil and Thelma May Mussman with two younger brothers, Gilbert Lee (Sonny) and Orval Cecil.

Alice graduated from Guymon High School and attended Panhandle State University for two years.  In 1958, she married Neal Duane Clubb and moved to the farm near Balko.  Alice worked hard on the family farm; milking, feeding livestock, driving tractors and trucks, and anything else that needed to be done.

Alice’s children and grandchildren were her pride and joy:  Clyde Neal married to Jana Bryant of Longview, Texas, Gail Ann married to Bill Himes of Thomas, Oklahoma, and Olen Glen married to Delora Hines of Balko.  Alice has 5 grandchildren;  grandsons, Aaron Clubb of Plano, Texas, and  Matthew Clubb of Ft. Worth, Texas, granddaughter Heather Himes of Oklahoma City, granddaughter Lauren Clubb of Norman, and  grandson Benjamin Clubb and wife Tayler of Balko.

Alice’s faith in God was very important to her.  She taught Sunday School for many years at the Apostolic Faith Church in Balko.

Alice loved to sew and was always ready to learn new things about sewing.  After retiring from farming, she quilted and did crafts, was president of her local and county homemaker’s club, and worked the Beaver County Fair.  She and Neal travelled the United States in their motorhome.  At Corn Heritage Village, she did crafts, was sought out to play dominos, and enjoyed the gospel music programs and love of her caregivers.

Alice was predeceased by her parents, parents-in-law Winfred and Inez Clubb, brothers, and husband.  Survivors include her children and their spouses, grandchildren, sister-in-law and husband Betty and Delbert Roberts of Woodward Oklahoma, sister-in-law Sharon Mussman of Almena, Kansas, a niece and numerous nephews.

Alice was a very loving, tender hearted and patient person who always saw the good in people.  She was a determined person who didn’t give up when many would.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
