Cynthia Elaine Carter

Cynthia Elaine Carter (Campbell) lost her fight against cancer and went to Heaven on May 15, 2023. She was born February 2, 1958 in Beaver Oklahoma to Marie and Bobby Campbell where she was raised and graduated in May of 1976 from Beaver High School.

Cindy raised her family in Beaver for many years. She worked at Beaver Public Schools. She was very involved in her girls’ school functions and never missed a softball or basketball game.  She often ran the concession stand at the field house. Her favorite thing to do was watch her girls play softball. She never missed a game.

Cindy met and married the love of her life on January 15, 1999 in Beaver Oklahoma. Her and Steve eventually moved to Tupelo, Oklahoma, and have spent 15 years living in the country. She loved gardening, bingo, and Colorado.

She is survived by her husband Steven Carter, two daughters Jennifer Surrett and husband Kevin of Yukon, Sara Brennon of Oklahoma City, her father Bobby Campbell and wife, Mercedes Campbell of Oklahoma City, a brother Randy Campbell and wife Peggy Campbell of Yukon. Cindy has 5 grandchildren Kylian Redemer, Cherish Winchester, Trevor Hitchcock, Blake Hitchcock and, and Abella Plus 2 great grand daughters.

She was proceeded in death by her daughter, Katy Bookstore, her mother and stepfather Marie Jiles and Earl Jiles, brother Chris Campbell.

Cindy fought a lengthy battle against cancer. She went thru many rounds of chemo, several surgeries, experimental treatments, even went into remission. But she always held her head and spirits up, and Steve was by her side every step of the way while having some medical hurdles himself along the way. They were on a fixed income, so it was not easy to afford the years of treatment. We are asking for no flowers at this time.
