  1. David Alan Beasley, 74, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
  2. He was born on October 31, 1951, in Beaufort, North Carolina, to Alta Mae Eagen Beasley and
  3. Joseph Cleveland Beasley Jr.
  4. David married Janett Lynn Searcy on November 27, 1970. Together they welcomed two sons,

  5. Jason and Jeremy. Although they divorced for a time, they found their way back to one another
  6. and remarried on August 24, 2000. David was also blessed with two daughters, Tasheena Bubke
  7. and Caity Beasley.

  8. David proudly served his country in the United States Army for more than 23 years. He served as
  9. an Infantryman for 13 years and 11 months before serving as a Military Police officer for 9 years
  10. and 4 months before retiring from military service. Following his time in the Army, he worked
  11. briefly as a police officer in Beaver County, Oklahoma. He later spent several years with
  12. Halliburton, where he retired, and afterward continued serving his community as a security
  13. officer at the hospital in Liberal, Kansas.

  14. Alongside Janett, David opened his heart and home by serving as a foster parent for several
  15. years. Together they provided love, stability, and care to children in need, leaving a lasting
  16. impact on many lives.
  17. David was a faithful and devoted member of the Church of Christ. His faith was a guiding force
  18. throughout his life and was reflected in the way he served his family, his country, and his
  19. community.

  20. He is survived by his children: Jason (Barb) Beasley of Wisconsin; Jeremy (Amanda) Beasley of
  21. Kismet, Kansas; Tasheena Bubke of Wyoming; and Caity Beasley of Wyoming. He is also
  22. survived by his brothers, Michael (Priscilla) Beasley of Guymon, Oklahoma, and Mark Beasley.
  23. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Ashlea, Brendan, Gracie, Destiny, Kash, Lane,
  24. Aisylynn, Seth, Hayden, Oliver, Declan, Ridge, Delaney, Fynnigan, and Kassidy, as well as
  25. seven great-grandchildren.

  26. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alta Mae Beasley and Joseph Cleveland Beasley Jr.;
  27. his beloved wife, Janett Beasley; his sisters, Debbie and Sandy; and his grandsons, Ryan and
  28. Benjamin.

  29. David will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his faithful service to his
  30. country, his commitment to his community, and his compassionate heart. Whether serving in the
  31. military, protecting others through law enforcement and security, opening his home to foster
  32. children, or simply being there for those he loved, David lived a life centered on service. His
  33. legacy of faith, kindness, and dedication will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.
  34. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Grant Street Church
  35. of Christ in Liberal, Kansas. Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation. Family
  36. and friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon immediately following the service at 607
  37. Don Street in Kismet, Kansas.
