Doyle Randall Stapp entered into the world in 05/28/1928. He was born to Thomas Shelby and Doris Gwendolin (Beach) Stapp in Carnegie, Ok. Doyle came to their homestead south of Elmwood, Ok at the age of two and lived the entirety of his life in Beaver, Ok. He attended the South Flat District 58 country school through the eighth grade and graduated from Booker High School in 1948.
On December 22, 1950, Doyle married the love of his life, LoElla Carol Hall. At that time, Doyle was inducted into the US Army and served his country in the Korean War. After his discharge from the army he and Carol made their home in Beaver where their two daughters Randa and Sandy were born. Doyle worked in construction for Olen Gregg and Lloyd Barby on the Barby Ranch east of Beaver. In 1959 Doyle and Carol moved to Okmulgee, Ok, for Doyle to attend Oklahoma State Tech School for leather work and boot making. In 1961 they returned to Beaver and opened Doyle’s Boot Shop.
Through the years he clerked for Barby Rodeo Co, was involved with the American Legion, and AQHA with the Oklahoma Brangus Breeders Association. He truly loved the cowboy lifestyle, enjoyed farming and ranching but most of all he loved going out and watching his black slick haired brangus cows.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife of 69 years Carol, brothers Derald, Dale, James (Gene) and Max and his granddaughter Delta Stapp.
Those who will forever cherish his memory are his daughters Randa Wakefield and husband Mike, Sandy VanNest and husband Kevin: Grandchildren: Clifford Wakefield and wife Elizabeth, Devin Wakefield and wife Mendy and Justin VanNest: Great grandchildren: Matthew, Bryan, Logan, Michael, McKenzie, Hadley, Lillian, Liam, Madelynn, Donovan and Sophia: Great, great grandchildren: Colin, Alexandra, Jaxon, Parker, Maclynn, Haisley, Mason and Emerson.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Monday November 10 2025 in the Pioneer Cemetery, Beaver, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted at Forgan First Baptist Church PO Box 9 Forgan, OK 73938 in Doyle’s name.
