Eric Wayne Elston

Eric Wayne Elston was born in Beaver, Oklahoma on April 3, 1962, to Louis Bernard “Jack” Elston and Clara Maxine (Love) Elston. He was the youngest of four children. He attended all twelve years of primary school in Forgan ISD, before attending Ford trade schools for automotive mechanics. Eric was a lifetime resident of Beaver County. He worked many years for Bill Russell at Panhandle Motors in Beaver, Oklahoma, and worked various other jobs over the years, while always maintaining his own shop to repair vehicles as well. His love of cars was extremely apparent to most, as was his love of football, and White German Shepherds.

He married Jill Wheatley in 1982 and to this union was born one son, Louis Wayne Elston. They later divorced.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Patsy (Gentry) Love and Orval L. and Marie C. (Verhelst) Elston; as well as both of his parents, Jack and Maxine Elston; one brother, Terry Eugene Elston; and Brother-in-law, Mervin Hardin.

Eric Wayne Elston, 57, of Forgan, Oklahoma, died on January 22, 2020, in Beaver County, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his son, Louis Wayne Elston of Darrouzett, Texas; sister Jaxine Hardin of Forgan, Oklahoma; brother,  Kris Elston of Beaver, Oklahoma; nine nieces and nephews; twenty-one great-nieces  and nephews, and many other beloved relatives and friends.
