Gerald “Jerry” Duane Hayes was born April 20, 1939, in Mountain Park, Oklahoma to Wayne Howard Hayes and Bonnie Anna Laura Dickinson Hayes.
Jerry married Sylvia Ann Swart in Drummond, Oklahoma on December 31, 1961. This year would have been their 65th wedding anniversary.
Jerry and Sylvia moved to Kansas City 1986.
Jerry moved to Heaven July.19, 2026 after a long battle with cancer.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Sylvia of the home. Two sisters Leanna Brady of Liberal, Kansas and Marcy and husband Phillip Howard of Beaver, Oklahoma.
He leaves many nieces and many nephews and great nieces and great nephews plus one great great niece to miss him.
Interment will be at Beaver Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver, Oklahoma.
