Jane Jamison

October 19, 1950 — September 3, 2018

Jane Jamison was born October 19th, 1950, in Beaver, Oklahoma, to George Junior and Rita Royce Reed.  She was the middle child of triplets.  Jane attended Beaver Schools from first grade through high school, graduating in 1968.  While in school she participated in many activities, including basketball and track.  She especially loved to run.

Jane was baptized into the First Christian Church of Beaver at a young age, where she was a lifetime member.  One of her favorite things was attending a weekly bible study with other members of her church.

Shortly after graduation from high school, Jane married Billy Dan Jamison.  They had two daughters, Kristy and Tracy.

During her lifetime, Jane held several positions of employment. In each endeavor, she gave her all. She worked for Dr. Ed Calhoon, Northern Natural Gas, Enron, Beaver Public Schools, and Nichols Water Service.  Most recently she was a dispatcher for the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office, retiring after ten years of service.

Jane passed away on September 3rd, 2018, at Beaver County Memorial Hospital at the age of 67.  Family was the greatest joy in her life and she was devoted to those she loved the most.  She was preceded in death by her “HERO” her father Junior Reed, a nephew, Michael Reed, and a niece, Lori Fletcher.  Survivors include her mother, Rita Royce Reed, older brother Gene Reed and wife Karen, younger brother Dean Reed and wife Chris, daughters Kristy Smyres and husband Troy, and Tracy Porter, along with four grandchildren, Trevor Smyres and fiancé Katie, Emily Smyres and fiancé Ben, Devyn Porter, and Reese Porter, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
