Judith Elain (Pedersen) Millikan Sutherland, Age 83 of Spicewood Texas passed from this life on August 22nd 2022 at BS&W Hospital in Marble Falls Texas. She was born August 28th, 1938, in Wibaux Montana, the first of 2 children. Her parents were Stainer and Mildred Pedersen of Glendive Montana. Judy graduated from high school in Glendive Montana then married her husband Fred Willis Millikan on June 9th, 1956.
Moving to Oklahoma thereafter, Judy and Fred resided a short time in Shawnee OK, before moving back to the Millikan family homestead farm in Logan Ok., farming and raising their family for many years. Judy enjoyed working alongside Fred on the farm as well as gardening, sewing, painting, and church activities. After Fred’s passing in January of 1994, Judy lived and worked in Beaver Ok., meeting and marrying James (Jim) Franklin Sutherland in 1994, working alongside him as he pastored two churches. After retirement, Judy and Jim moved to Spicewood Texas in 2013 to be closer to family. Judy most enjoyed sitting out watching her favorite wild animal, the white-tailed deer, and loving her grandchildren. Judy was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Cindy Millikan of Albuquerque New Mexico, Dixie (Millikan) Bobeck of Marble Falls, Texas, and Leslie (Millikan) Lloyd of Spicewood Texas; Grandchildren Luther, Jesse, Jessica, Viktoreia Thomas; Aaron, Nick, and Brody Bobeck; Quinn Lloyd and Jordan (Lloyd) Berrier, and 19 great grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Karen (Pedersen) Coker, Fred Willis Millikan, and James Franklin Sutherland.
