Larry Thomas Hodges

Larry Thomas Hodges was born August 24,1936 in Beaver, Ok to Albert, Sr. and Leota.

He graduated from Forgan High School in 1954, then went to Panhandle A/M College for two years. He married the love of his life, Estella Allen, January 20, 1956, at the Forgan Methodist Church. To this union, 4 children were born, Rebecca Lynne, Rondi Kay, Larry Don, and Leigh Anne.

He had many different jobs to support his young family in the early years. He continued ranching and farming. He raised, broke, and trained quarter horses that he loved.

He also enjoyed traveling which he did while on the Methodist conference boards and Electric Cooperative boards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Albert, Jr., his sisters, Rena Jo, and Joyce.

He departed this life on October 19, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of the home, Becky and husband Mike McCarter of Forgan, Rondi and husband Mike Andrews of Dover, OK, Larry Don Hodges of Forgan and Leigh Anne Bruner of Forgan.

He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Forgan United Methodist Church or the Beaver County Ministerial Alliance.
