Linda Sue Todd was born January 2nd, 1939 in Versailles, Kentucky to Erman and Shirley (Ellison) Todd and was greeted by older sister Lois Ann. She passed away October 2nd, 2023 in Douglas Wyoming. Graveside services will be held Saturday October 7th, 2023 at 1pm at the Forgan Oklahoma cemetery. She graduated from Litchfield High School-and was proud she could graduate early at semester. She continued to work as secretary for the school until May when she joined her classmates receiving their diplomas. She met her first husband, William Isaac West Jr (Billy) and four children joined them in four years-Elmer Lynn , William Isaac West III , Brenda Kay, and Adele. They later divorced and she met James Glenn Morris in New Mexico. They were married and Glenda Louise joined the family along with Glenn’s son James Edwin. The family lived in Farmington New Mexico, Shiprock New Mexico, Tucson, Arizona then landed in Nara Visa New Mexico. The family-owned Shamrock Truck stops and she mostly ran the restaurant side, but she could pump gas and bump the tires with the best of them. They divorced after 9 1/2 years. She then married Bill Rowlett and the family moved to Tyrone Oklahoma. She managed convenience stores, worked for a chiropractor in Guymon, and always kept her hand in food service. They later divorced as well and she moved to Forgan Oklahoma. She eventually met Fred Worton and they were married for 17 years. She moved to Wheatland Wyoming in 2015.

Linda accepted Jesus as her Saviour at a young age. while living in Forgan, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Beaver. She taught Sunday School and VBS, as well as cooked the Wednesday night meals, holiday meals and many funeral dinners- most of this done with Dee Madden by her side. They were more than good friends, they were basically related with their children being married. You typically did not see one without the other at any church or family function. She was an active member of Memorial Baptist church when she moved to Wyoming, particularly enjoying the lady’s bible study.

in 2020, the assisted living journey began due to dementia/Alzheimer’s disease, with her longest stay in the Wyoming Pioneer Home in Thermopolis Wyoming. She was instrumental in getting a permanent church service there. Stephanie and Darren Butcher were faithful in leading the worship and Linda loved being a part of the service.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Worton, brother-in-law JD Milliner, grandson Ricky Burdett, and great grandson Holden Weber, and niece Teresa Acton. She is survived by: her sister Lois Ann Milliner and family of Louisville Kentucky, Elmer and Patty West of Schaumburg Illinois, Bill and Marsha West of Beaver Oklahoma, Brenda and Gene Madden of Beaver Oklahoma, Adele Albright of Amarillo Texas, Lu and Troy Lay of Wheatland Wyoming, and bonus son Ed Morris of Star Idaho.

She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed. Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church in Beaver, or Memorial Baptist Church in Wheatland.
