Margaret Gay Kinney

Margaret Gay Kinney was born to Earl and Ethyl Cotter in Ashland, Kansas on October 25, 1941. She graduated high school and she has been a resident of Beaver, Oklahoma since 1964. She was a bank officer at the First Security Bank until she retired.  She married Steve Kinney on March 31, 1960 in Laverne, Oklahoma. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, her son, David, and her husband, Steve Kinney.  She had been a member of the Baptist Church for over forty years.

Margaret passed on October 23, 2017 at Great Plains Regional In Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 75.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Kinney of Milburn, Oklahoma and Michael Kinney of Buffalo, Oklahoma; her daughter, Teresa Hester of Elk City, Oklahoma; one brother, Bob Cotter of Liberal, Kansas; two sisters, Glenda Carr of Milpitas, California and Margie Hoffman of Buffalo, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grand children  and a host of other relatives and friends.
