Marshall Lester Cross

May 20, 1933 — January 12, 2020

Knowles, OK. Marshall graduated from Knowles High School in 1950.

Marshall joined the Army on February 11, 1953, and he then married Pauline Dean on August 8, 1953 at Elmwood, Oklahoma and with this union was born Russell, Lynn, Mark, and Lisa.

Marshall was a lifetime resident of Beaver County. He was a member of The American Legion, Post# 149, he was a volunteer fireman for Elmwood Fire Department. His life was dedicated to family and friends, as he was honorably discharged from the Army in February 1956, then he worked for Beaver County until he retired. He was a long time farmer. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Elizabeth, his wife Pauline, two brothers Lester and Barnard, and granddaughter Brandi Cross.

 Marshall passed from this life on January 12, 2020 at the VA hospital in Amarillo TX.

 He leaves to mourn his passing three sons and one daughter, Russell and his wife, Pam, of Harper, KS, Lynn and his wife, Cheryl, of Elmwood, OK, Mark and his wife, Rena, of Liberal, KS, Lisa and her husband, Danny Johnson of Amarillo, TX. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and a host of many more relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Interment will be in the Sophia Cemetery, Elmwood, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either Crossroads Center, Inc. or to Elmwood Fire Department.
