Paul Warren Bridwell

August 20, 1917 — August 5, 2017

Paul Warren Bridwell was born August 20, 1917 in rural Beaver County to Luther and Myrtle (Coberly) Bridwell, the fifth of six children. Paul was united in marriage to Jeraldine (Jerry) Angleton on May 9, 1937. Two daughters, Paula and Judy, were born to their union.

Paul worked various jobs throughout his life: butcher, truck driver, oilfield deck hand and farmer. Farming was his true calling he continued until health and age prohibited it. He loved to play rousing games of cards and dominoes and tinkering with anything that had moving parts, although the parts didn’t always move after his tinkering!

His wife, Jerry, preceded him in death on October 13, 2014 as well as three brothers, Cecil, Monte and Dale; two sisters, Irene McCoy and Pauline Curfman, great-grandson Aaron Rodriguez and son-in-law, Richard O’Brien.

Paul departed this life on August 5, 2017 in the Beaver County Nursing Home, 15 days shy of his 100th birthday, with his daughters by his side.

He is survived by his daughters, Paulo O’Brien, Judy Taylor and son-in-law, Larry Taylor, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
