Robert W. Marshall

October 14, 1962 — November 29, 2025

Balko, Oklahoma

Robert Warren Marshall was born October 14, 1962 to Roger and Charlene Marshall in Beaver, Oklahoma.

Robert graduated from Beaver High School, Beaver, OK in 1980. After graduating, he attended Liberal Area Vo-Tech for Automotive Mechanics where he met the love of his life, Brenda Leigh (Harms). They were united in marriage on October 3, 1981 in Dodge City, KS, and had two children, Christopher and Sara. Robert had six grandchildren he was so proud of. He loved being there for their events and cheering them on in all their activities whether it being sports or stock showing. No distance was too far for his grandchildren.

Robert worked for Beaver County District #3 as a mechanic for over 30 years, retiring in 2013 with Johnny Paycheck’s song “Take This Job and Shove It” playing on the radio for everyone to hear and a big smile on his face. Robert joined the Balko Fire Department in October 1981 and will be forever known as Balko #10. He became Fire Chief in October 1989 and Beaver County Firefighters Association Chairman in October 1997. He and Brenda went on many fires together and even his children helped. Mechanicing and Firefighting were Robert’s passion.

Robert had a servant's heart and was very mechanically inclined. He had a knack for diagnosing mechanical issues just by the sound it was making. Robert was always willing to help anyone. From helping stranded motorists, going on fire runs, working on vehicles, to helping his kids and grandkids, he was just a call or a text away. Robert even enjoyed the facetime calls from his grandkids. There was always country radio playing with Robert around and a smile on his face as he sang word for word and sometimes even played his air guitar and drums. He also enjoyed participating in tractor pulls with his son.

Robert Warren Marshall, 63, of Balko, OK, passed away November 29, 2025.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda and her parents, Vernon and Clydene Harms. Survivors include son, Christopher and wife Cyishia of Beaver, OK, daughter, Sara and husband Landry Ogden of Hooker, OK. Six grandchildren, Cole, Mady, Mazden, Nash, Mayze, and Brenley; parents Roger and Charlene Marshall of Oklahoma City, OK. Siblings, Catherine, Charles, and Rita and brother and sister in law, Chris and Eileena Harms, many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
