Robert Wayne Prince

July 13, 1960 — January 23, 2023

Robert Wayne Prince was born on July 13, 1960 to Bud and Jean Prince in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He spent the majority of his life in the Tulsa area. His education started at Columbus Elementary with a high school graduation from East Central High. He proudly put himself through college starting with an Associates Degree from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Oklahoma and a Bachelor Degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

In May of 1981, Robert married Madeline Michele Roark. To this union, two beautiful children were born, Aubrey Nicole and Brandon Wayne. Robert and Michele divorced in 1995. He later married the last love of his life, Judy Hale Rogers of Rogers, Arkansas and Beaver, Oklahoma. They married on June 6, 2013. They became lifelong companions for their favorite life adventures.

Robert’s professional career consisted of numerous small endeavors and then at 22, he started at Coca Cola. He began at the bottom and worked his way up to District Manager. Many of his coworkers would say “Robert bled Coca Cola.” After a solid loyalty to the company of 35 years, he retired at the age of 57. He was blessed to have five years of retirement living his life exactly like he always knew he would.

Camping, hunting and fishing with his friends and family was his choice. Although he had many vacation plans for 2023, he lived a full and blessed life.

Robert loved the outdoors. So many young people he introduced into the life because he was willing, NO, excited to share what he loved and excelled in. Robert’s constant smile and unending exuberance in helping others, endeared him to so many people in his life. He was infectious with his kindness and always welcomed perfect strangers as family. Robert will always continue to be with so many, so important to us and in his very own special way, a "legend.”

The final days of Robert’s life were blessed by evidence of how much he was loved by his family and friends. Many friends, multiple times, visited at the hospital with Robert who had truly made a difference in their life’s and the life of others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Jean Prince and all his grandparents.
