Beaver

Tammy Campbell was born at the Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver, Oklahoma, April 10, 1959, to Van and Pauline Campbell. She was the youngest child of five siblings who managed to spoil her.

She graduated high school in Beaver, Oklahoma, in 1978. After graduation she was employed at Campbell's Drive-ln in Beaver before moving to Winfield, Kansas, where she was employed in Campbell's Café. She also managed a cleaning service for Executive Management Services for several years. She was later employed as a Correction Officer at the Winfield Correctional Facility in Winfield, KS for ten years before retiring.

Tammy was always a kind and happy person during her life. Her father surprised her with a Shetland pony when she was pretty young, and she managed to ride it all over town. She loved fishing and would always spend time in the summers to enjoy the water. One of her favorite activities was riding motorcycles. She always managed to have one. She would wrap that doo rag bandana around her head and off she would go.

Tammy was baptized by Pastor Rick Main, in November, 2022, at the First Christian Church in Beaver. All of her siblings, nieces and nephews attended that ceremony. What a great time we had at that event.

Tammy Sue Campbell, of Beaver, Oklahoma, passed away May 8, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Tammy is survived by her brothers and sisters; Bobby Campbell and wife Merkey of Oklahoma City; Deanna Clower of Beaver, Oklahoma; Paula Brinkley of Beaver, Oklahoma; and Vance Campbell and wife Mimi of Somerville, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
