Thomas “Tom” Ray Terrell, age 86, of Beaver, Oklahoma, passed away on July 15, 2026. He was born in Clovis, New Mexico on September 29, 1939.
Tom served his country in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961. Throughout his lifetime, he held several occupations and specialized primarily in cathodic protection. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and flying, and was a pilot for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Terrell of the home; his son, Kevin Terrell of Portales, New Mexico; his daughter, Angie Robinson and husband Roy Robinson of Hooker, Oklahoma; his sisters, Eloise VanVoorhis and Nola Whatley; his brothers, Richard Terrell, Monty Terrell, and Johnny Terrell; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren and a host of niece and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Francis Terrell; his sister, Janice Terrell; his brother, Joe Terrell; his sons, Scott Terrell and Stephen Boyd; and his nephew, Shawn Whatley.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Robinson home, 120 N. Memorial St., Hooker, Oklahoma 73945, with Richard Terrell officiating.
Cremation remains will be placed at Liberty Cemetery in Fay, Oklahoma, at a later date.
