Vesta Lynn Richardson

Vesta Lynn Richardson was born on January 3, 1972 in Beaver, Oklahoma. Lynn, as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, grew up in Darrouzett, Texas and attended school there graduating in 1990. She went on to attend West Texas University where she graduated with a Bachelors in English. Upon graduating from WT, she moved to Portland, Oregon and found her passion in social work. She found her joy working with at risk mothers with newborns. Lynn met and fell in love with Noah Richardson and they were married on March 2, 2006. Together, they had two sons, Henry and Desmond while living in Oregon. They eventually moved to Lubbock, Tx to be closer to her family and then on to Birmingham, Alabama to be close to Noah’s family. Lynn was passionate about her family, her friends, and life. She passed away suddenly on March 5, 2022. She is survived by her husband Noah and her two boys Henry and Desmond Richardson, her mother and father, Mona and Dennis Gensman, her Brother Skylar Gensman, and sister Nicole Gensman Brown and her husband Ron Brown, her two nephews Corbin and Jesse Brown, and her niece, Ellie Brown. Lynn leaves behind many family members and friends who loved her dearly. She was a light that this world will truly miss.
