Virginia Lane was born in Perryton, TX, on June 25, 1940, to Bill and Annalee McLanahan. She married Johnny Lane in 1958 and spent her life making a beautiful home life with him and their sons. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends playing cards and working on craft projects. She was a faithful member of Balko Baptist Church where she served in many ways, but she especially enjoyed holding the babies in the nursery.
Virginia Lane entered her eternal rest on March 4, 2022.
She is survived by her son, Kelley (Lori) Lane of Amarillo, her daughter-in-law Brada Hargues of Balko, grandchildren Court (Carrie) Lane of Lake Charles, LA; Andy (Morgan) Lane of Wolfforth, TX; Anna (David) Tart of Minneapolis, MN; Chisum Lane of Austin, TX; and Brendon, Brice and Barrett Lane of Balko, and great granddaughters Annie Grace of Lake Charles and Madelyn of Wolfforth. She was preceded in death by her brother Billy Wayne McLanahan, son Brad, and her husband.
Our family is grateful for the excellent care she was given in the Beaver County Nursing Home. We also thank those who visited her in the nursing home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Balko Baptist Church or the Beaver County Nursing Home.
